Why get married in Georgia?

For 20 years, we have been successfully arranging marriages in Denmark for bridal couples from all over the world. However, new laws regarding marriage in Denmark came into force on January 1, 2019. The changes affect both the required documents and the entire administrative process.

The Agency for Family Law in Denmark is solely responsible for checking the documents. The agency will only issue a marriage license if the document check is positive and there is no doubt that it is a sham marriage.

The Agency for Family Law has very specific rules and high standards for marriage applications, which must be followed exactly in order to receive approval on the first attempt.

If your application is not submitted correctly (for a variety of reasons) and queries arise, this currently results in a delay in processing of several weeks to 7 months.

If you are one of those couples who are in a hurry to get married or couples with a large age difference, Georgia is a very good alternative for you. 

Couples who have only known each other for a few months are invited to an interview by the Danish Family Law Agency or are rejected and have no chance of getting married quickly in Denmark. Couples with difficulties in obtaining Schengen visas can also be helped in this way.
